Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using Voisor (the "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Voisor is a marketplace platform that connects everyday people ("Users") with founders, creators, and subject matter experts ("Experts") through asynchronous voice memo answers. Users may unlock pre-recorded voice answers from Experts for a one-time fee, or submit paid voice questions directly to Experts, who have 72 hours to respond before an automatic refund is issued. Voisor acts as a platform facilitating these transactions. We are not a party to the advice exchanged between Users and Experts.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make a payment, or act as an Expert on Voisor. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Voisor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Experts are reviewed and approved by Voisor before being permitted to list on the Platform. Approval does not constitute endorsement of an Expert's qualifications, advice, or business practices. Experts are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Voisor. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between Voisor and any Expert. Experts are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of the advice and answers they provide. Experts are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on income earned through the Platform. Voisor does not withhold taxes on Expert earnings. Experts agree to respond to paid questions within 72 hours of submission. Failure to respond results in an automatic refund to the User, and the Expert forfeits payment for that question.

All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Voisor does not directly store or process your payment card information. Voisor charges a platform fee (currently 20%) on every transaction. Experts receive the remaining percentage of each transaction. Prices for pre-recorded answers and live questions are set by individual Experts within ranges established by Voisor. By submitting a question or unlocking an answer, you authorize Voisor to charge your selected payment method for the listed price.

Pre-recorded answers: Once unlocked, answers are non-refundable. A free preview is provided before purchase so you can make an informed decision. Live questions: If an Expert does not respond to a submitted question within 72 hours, the User is automatically refunded in full. Refunds typically appear on the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Voisor reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion in cases of platform error, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

Users and Experts retain ownership of the voice recordings they create and upload to the Platform. By uploading a voice question or voice answer, you grant Voisor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and play back that content for the purpose of operating the Platform. Experts who publish pre-recorded answers grant Voisor a license to display and make those answers available for purchase by other Users on an ongoing basis, unless and until the Expert removes the content or deactivates their account. Voisor reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or that we determine in our sole discretion to be harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.

By becoming an approved Expert on Voisor, you grant Voisor the right to feature your name, likeness, photo, profile information, and excerpts of your published content in marketing and promotional materials. This includes but is not limited to Voisor's official website, app, and social media accounts; personal social media accounts affiliated with or operated by Voisor's founders or team members; and advertisements, press materials, and promotional content. This license continues for as long as you remain an active Expert on the Platform and may continue for a reasonable period after you leave the Platform for previously published promotional materials. You may request removal of specific future promotional use by contacting tryvoisor@gmail.com.

You agree not to: use the Platform for any illegal purpose; harass, threaten, or abuse other Users or Experts; submit questions or answers containing hate speech, explicit content, or content that violates the rights of others; attempt to circumvent Voisor's payment system or solicit off-platform payments; share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account; attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform without authorization; or impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

Voisor collects information necessary to operate the Platform, including account information, payment information (processed by Stripe), and voice recordings. Voisor does not sell, rent, or otherwise monetize User or Expert personal data to third parties. We do not benefit financially from the sale or transfer of consumer data. We use third-party service providers (including Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and Supabase for hosting and data storage) to operate the Platform. These providers have their own privacy and data handling practices.

Voisor is a platform, not a source of professional advice. Answers and content provided by Experts reflect their personal opinions and experiences and are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, psychological, or other licensed advice. Voisor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or usefulness of any content provided by Experts. Voisor is not responsible for the outcomes of any decisions made based on advice received through the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voisor and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Voisor's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Voisor in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Voisor reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other Users, Experts, or the Platform. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting tryvoisor@gmail.com.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
